* Ramon, thank you for the parcel shelf retaining plate diagram. My original plastic plates were both broken on the passenger side and I now have unbreakable metal ones thanks to your website! Have also been reading your article on Wiring and Connector maintenance. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into your website, an invaluable reference source for ham fisted people like me on the other side of the world. Paul Bray, Canberra, March '09. * Ramon, I came across your stunningly knowledgable articles when I owned various SD1s - you seem to be the enthusiat's enthusiast. I recently purchased a TR7 drop head fitted with an SD1 Twin Plenum engine. Been done reasonably well but needs 'recommissioning'. Congrats on your V8 pages - don't let the bastards grind you down!. David Mills in Suffolk, Dec '09 * A brilliant and informative answer, I've read Haynes back to front and been thro' two cd's of Land Rovers' workshop manuals time and again, They cover the basics and for that are pretty good but neither have information anywhere close to the articles you have given me. The explanations are brilliant. I will be e-mailing you for a copy of your book shortly. George, Dec '09 * Super-good web site on how to troubleshoot the injection system of a Rover V8 written for the engine installed in an SD1 but since it's essentially the same as the RR/LR engine it works unpredictably good anyway. Read, ponder and despair not. Pelson in Sweden. Feb '10. * I recommend have a look on Ramon's site, He has some first class information for fault finding the Rover Engine, it may not be written for your specific engine but his method is always excellent and extremely thorough.
