This is the story of how C S Rushbrooke's 4 oz "Mayfly" has been transformed from a reliable, medium performing beauty in to a competitive ship capable of some stunningly majestic flights.

I built "Mayfly" in 1987 and for the best part of twenty years it was ubiquitous at many traditional Sam35 UK venues such as Old Warden, Middle Wallop, Barkston, Odiham, Woodbury and Chobham, simply because it is an absolute delight to fly and always attracts admirers.
